Whatever you do

It is a hard thing not to let the past influence us and not allow any worries regarding the future become part of our lives. Not too many people are simply content with their lives where they are at and live every day with a heart of thankfulness. It never ceases to amaze me how people get so worked up regarding their circumstances, showing an attitude that makes you wonder if the grass really is greener on the other side. I know plenty of tall people that want to be shorter, short people Read more [...]

Let us pray

Do you believe in intercession? Well let me rephrase this, do you believe in intercessors? You know the group of people that are in most churches, often mainly ladies who believe that they have the gift and ministry of intercession. I struggle with that, in fact I don’t believe that there is a special group of people that is called to the ministry of intercession. Before you jump at me in defense let me tell you why I came to this conclusion, and you tell me why you believe what you believe. Remember Read more [...]

The question I don’t like

About 30 years ago I saw something new in the scriptures; (well it wasn’t new, it was just new to me) that caused me a lot of opposition many time I’ve mentioned and taught it ever since. Not that opposition bothers me; in fact I have learned to embrace it. After all it was my beloved Lord Jesus who in Luke chapter six said “woe unto you when all men speak well of you…” So even though I am not trying to be controversial, I will stand up for what I believe and will not hide my convictions Read more [...]

Demotion and promotion is on the horizon

Many voices out there are telling us what the near future holds. People are prophesying many different things from doom and gloom to a wonderful great year that is ahead of us. What is the truth, and how can we know? Especially when the “prophets” are seemingly contradicting each other and saying opposite things, how can we know what is really true? A good thing is always to listen to your own heart and the Lord, as we can all hear the Lord according to John chapter 10. I do not want to judge Read more [...]

My fear of bad breath

I don’t know about you, but there is something that kinda scares me. It makes me real nervous, simply because I know myself too well and knows what lies deep within my fallen nature. Often it goes unnoticed by the person having it until it backfires and then leaves a trail of destruction and many hurt and wounded lives. Besides that God doesn’t like it either. It can destroy intimate relationships and cause great harm to the people we love so deeply. Really it is quite gross if you think about Read more [...]

Whatever happened to contentment

When I look at how Jesus lived His life on earth, which expressed the heart of the Father, or when I look at the Apostle Paul and then compare it to my own life and the lives of most Christians I know in the Western World, I see something that causes me to be greatly concerned. When I see things in my own life that don’t quite match up to scripture, I do what I can to leave scripture unchanged and change my life. Often, as you will well know, it is a great struggle. We struggle and battle in many Read more [...]

The Double Test

The prophetic is something that has had my attention for decades. In fact, when I was a little boy, I realized that I would often have weird thoughts and feelings about certain situations and instances and what would happen and take place, and then they actually took place just like I knew they would. I had no clue what that was, not even the faintest idea that it could have anything to do with God. I just thought it was kind of weird or strange. Even today I can recall certain situations Read more [...]

obedience-2

Recently I blogged about how important it is to be obedient to the Lord. I am convinced it is the key to experiencing the supernatural and all that God has for us. The question is, is it really that simple? Do we always know what God wants us to do? Aren’t there times when we are unsure of the will of God for our lives? I myself have spent many months in fasting and praying, seeking the will of my father in heaven (added all my fasts up). I want to obey Him and experience all He has for me. It Read more [...]

On a personal note

When I wrote my last blog, I had no idea what was about to hit me. It came out of the blue and very unexpectedly. Through an injury, I messed up my shoulder so bad that I was in excruciating pain; in fact, I still am in a lot of pain as I am typing these words slowly with just one hand. For nights I have been unable to get any decent sleep; in fact, I am in so much pain, that I can’t crawl into my bed and am trying to get a little sleep every night sitting in my recliner. I hesitated to go to the Read more [...]

The Lords prayer

I am on a journey, well maybe more than a journey, I am on a pursuit. I am so desperate to experience absolutely everything that I as a Christian am supposed to experience. I am pretty determined to not quit until the gap between the theology and experience closes. I am equally determined to help the body of Christ reach its potential. I look into the future with great excitement and great concern. My great excitement comes from firm belief in the power and determination of my Father in heaven to Read more [...]
